Our award-winning Sesame Tahini brings sesame, soy, and tahini together in a fresh and innovative way, to deliver a healthy punch of flavor that brightens far more than salad. I love seaweed salad! You know the kind that accompanies sushi and fills your mouth with salty goodness.

In my attempt to create a dressing that resembled the dressing from seaweed salad, the Sesame Tahini dressing was born in the happiest of accidents. I just couldn’t get the flavor of the seaweed salad right, but this – while not even close to what I was trying to accomplish – was so good in its own right, that I decided to quit the impossible quest and just enjoy what I had.

The recipe uses sesame three ways – the seeds, sesame oil, and sesame paste (tahini). This recipe taps into my Middle Eastern roots, with a little pan Asian delight at the same time. Truly a medley of flavors.
